Jackie’s Dream is more than a restaurant. It is a Knoxville institution, built on the conviction that soul food, when prepared with patience and made entirely from scratch, can genuinely feed the soul. Since opening its doors in 2015, owner Jackie Griffin has turned a modest neighborhood eatery into one of the most cherished dining experiences in East Tennessee, earning a devoted following that spans locals, courthouse regulars, and travelers who plan their routes around a single plate of her cooking.

A Dream That Keeps Growing

What began as a tiny storefront has expanded with the community that embraced it. After outgrowing its early homes, Jackie’s Dream relocated to a state-of-the-art space at Covenant Health Park, where a brand-new kitchen and dining room allow the team to serve even more guests without ever compromising the homemade quality that made the restaurant a name worth whispering about. 

Through every move, the philosophy has remained constant: stay true to the recipes, the ingredients, and the warmth that built the reputation in the first place.
